  • Walking Trail

A smooth loop for daily walks

A smooth, level loop trail winds through all four backyards, with rest benches and soft evening lighting. Our walking club heads out every morning after breakfast.

  • Putting Green

    Friendly competition, any skill level

A real putting green right outside the back door. Residents warm up their short game, grandkids learn to putt, and the weekly putting league keeps the bragging rights interesting.

  • BBQ & Outdoor Dining

A covered pavilion for shared meals

A covered pavilion with a grill and long tables. Saturday BBQs, family dinners, and warm-evening suppers happen here.

  • Garden

    Raised beds, garden-to-table

Waist-high raised beds mean residents can garden standing or seated. Tomatoes, herbs, peppers, and greens go straight to our kitchen.

  • Game Lawn

    Bocce, cornhole, croquet

An open lawn for bocce, cornhole, and croquet — popular with residents and visiting grandkids alike.

  • Card Room

    Cards, puzzles, and conversation

A bright, quiet room set up for card games, dominoes, puzzles, and good conversation. Weekly tournaments welcome.

  • Fitness Room

    Gentle strength with visiting trainers

Equipped for balance, strength, and stretching. Visiting personal trainers lead small-group and one-on-one sessions tailored to each resident.

  • Bonus Room

    Hobbies, crafts, and movie nights

A flexible hobby room for painting, crafts, music, school-partner visits, and movie nights.

A letter from our founder

“A place I would put my own dad.”

When I started looking at care homes for my own father, I kept asking one question: would he actually be happy here? Not just safe — happy. Moving, laughing, eating real food, and known by name.

ACORN is my answer. Four small homes, one big backyard, and a team that treats every resident like family.
