ACORN Senior Living Communities

Our story

Why I built ACORN — a place I would put my dad.

A grandfather playing bocce on the lawn with his two grandchildren

When it came time to look for care for my own father, I toured a lot of places. Many were clean and safe. Very few felt alive. I watched residents sit in front of televisions in quiet hallways and thought: Dad would hate this. He'd want to be outside. He'd want to be useful. He'd want someone to talk to over a good meal.

So I set a simple standard: build a place I would put my own dad. Small enough that every caregiver knows every resident. Active enough that every day has something worth getting up for. Honest enough that families never have to wonder what they're paying for.

ACORN is four single-family homes in Wildomar whose backyards face each other. We joined those backyards into one shared Commons — a walking trail, a putting green, a garden, a BBQ pavilion, and a lawn for bocce. Each home stays small and personal, with up to six residents. Together, they make a real neighborhood.

I hope you'll come walk the loop with us.
