ACORN Senior Living Communities

Families

You're part of the neighborhood, too.

Drop by for lunch, cheer at the putting green, or just sit in the garden together. Our door is open.

Visiting hours & open-door policy

Visiting hours: [Visiting hours — e.g. 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily]

Residents may have private visits during reasonable hours without prior notice — including from long-term care ombudsman representatives and advocates. We simply ask visitors to sign in so we know who's in the home.

How you'll stay updated

  • Regular updates by phone, text, or email — your choice.
  • Weekly menus and activity calendars.
  • A call right away if anything changes.
  • Care plan reviews with you and your loved one.

Family & Resident Councils

Families may form a Family Council and residents have a Resident Council. Both can meet privately, share concerns, and make suggestions — and we respond in writing.

Family events

Family Friday putting challenges, Saturday BBQs, holiday dinners, and community potlucks. See the activity calendar to RSVP.

Grandkids welcome

ACORN Sprouts & the Visit Passport

ACORN Sprouts club

Activities for grandkids to share with residents: putting lessons, garden planting, crafts, and bocce. Little visitors leave with a sticker and a story.

Visit Passport

Every visit earns a stamp — try the trail, pick a tomato, beat Grandpa at cornhole. Fill the passport for a special prize from the kitchen.
